Pork Roast Recipes with a Tangy touch

This is my favorite Pork Roast Recipe. Pork roast with spices and lime juice.

This is a pork roast recipe prepared with some Indian spices and and lime juice to give a very nice tangy taste.

For the rub, take a bowl and mix 2 Tbs of Olive Oil, 2 Tbs of fresh Lime Juice.
Add into it 1 tsp chipotle chilli powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp coriander powder , some oregano and a tsp of garlic powder or tbs garlic paste. Add Salt and Pepper to taste

Mix well and put in a freezer bag.
Now put the Pork Loin inside the freezer bag and cover.
Now rub the meat with this mixture by rubbing the bag from outside.
You can keep it in the freezer for 1 hour or so,

Grease a roasting pan with olive oil. Now take out the meat and place the meat on the roasting pan.
Preheat the oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit, start the roast.
After 10 Minutes, reduce the heat to 300. The Pork should be roasted till the meat thermometer register aout 160.

Take out the roast and slice.
Pour the juice from the pan into the meat.
Serve.

    how can you cook pork or any meat at 160 degrees? I thought 325 for pork. I have a 7 lb roast, how long will that cook?

    My Bad. I meant to bake it till the meat thermometer registers 160 :)
